In 2006 in the breakfast room at my grand mothers house I discovered Fernando Torres who just so happened to be moving from Spain to England the following season. Following El Niño, I too became a Liverpool fan.
I don't watch games as much as I used to but as part of my birthday trip to the UK we drove up to Liverpool to tour Anfield. I was slightly wary as this was self guided but the audio guide they've created and the staff that are stationed along the tour route were wonderful. We probably spent 3 hours walking around the stadium.
If you're considering booking the tour know that there is a difference between match day tours and non match day tours with the route being restricted on a match day.
