Once owned by Larz Anderson, this Beaux - Arts style mansion is now the headquarters for the Society of the Cincinnati. Built in 1905 Larz Anderson and his wife Isabel used the house as their winter residence.
Visitors can access the 1st and 2nd floor on a guided tour with a docent. Tours begin at 15 past year hour while the house is open. My biggest tip is pay attention to the ceilings and how many of the details were purpose built for the house. Its a truly stunning example of a gilded age mansion.
