Located: New York City, New York USA

A childhood dream come true to climb up into the crown of the Statue of Liberty. If I can give you one tip its book your tickets well in advance. They frequently sell out 3 to 6 months in advance. And to bring a quarter for the lockers.

Over 300 stairs up to the top with the top half being a narrow double helix. Obviously no air conditioning inside so plan for it be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

You are allowed to stay inside the crown for 10 minutes which doesn't sound like that much but its a tiny space so that is honestly plenty of time.

Lastly pay attention to the rules on what you can and can't bring. The Crown climb has more restrictions than the pedestal access tickets.
